Stew's Dialysis & Transplant Information Support Group was founded to ensure that no one has to face the complexities of kidney failure alone. We serve as a vital bridge between patients, medical information, and the resources needed to sustain life while waiting for a transplant. Our organization understands the physical, emotional, and financial toll of long-term dialysis, and we are dedicated to easing that burden through community advocacy. We believe that through education and collective generosity, we can empower every patient to reach their goal of a successful transplant and a healthier future.
Stews Dialysis and Transplant Information & Support Group was
founded by Richard Stewart, who witnessed firsthand the physical,
emotional, and financial challenges that individuals and families face
while navigating dialysis treatment and the transplant process. Through
that experience, he recognized the need for a supportive community where
patients could access reliable information, encouragement, and
resources without feeling alone.
Driven by a passion to help others facing similar challenges, Richard
established the organization to serve as a source of hope, education,
and connection. His vision is to empower dialysis and transplant
patients with the knowledge, support, and community they need to
navigate their journey with confidence and dignity.

How Your Donations Help
Every donation helps us build and expand programs that support dialysis
and transplant patients and their families. Contributions are used to
develop educational workshops, host support group meetings, provide
patient resource materials, conduct community outreach, and create
events that connect individuals with valuable information and support
networks.
As our organization grows, donor support will help us increase access to
educational resources, strengthen community partnerships, and expand
services that improve the quality of life for those affected by kidney
disease. Your generosity helps create a stronger, more informed, and
more connected kidney health community.
